Ludacris and the Ludacris Foundation Present the 2nd Annual ‘LudaFamDay’
One of the things I love most about living in Atlanta is how much love is shown to the city by it’s celebrity citizens! Being the new Hollywood, Atlanta has launched many careers in the entertainment industry. And many give back in a major way! T.I., Kandi Burruss, and Debra Antney are just some of the stars who take their service to the community that birthed their careers seriously! But no list of Atlanta “do-gooders” would be complete without Ludacris, who has been known for his service to the city of Atlanta for years!
The Ludacris Foundation serves the community well in Leadership, Education and Health & Wellness. For those on the party scene. We all know that Ludicris has been insanely popular with his Luda Day Weekend events in Atlanta during Labor Day Weekend, but starting last year, he started LudaFamDay. An event that spotlights everything that his foundation stands for.
LudaFamDay’ is hyper-focused on community give back. “Family is the foundation of our communities and our communities are the foundation of our great city of Atlanta. ‘LudaFamDay’ was created with this in mind and it is the biggest give back of the charity weekend states, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges.” “I encourage all communities throughout the city to come out and enjoy the day. We are much stronger and effective together.
After the success of the first event, Ludacris and Co. have decided to keep the fun going and bring the event back bigger and better, this year. The citizens of Atlanta and its visitors can expect tons of family fun during the 2nd Annual LudaFamDay
Now in its second year, ‘LudaFamDay’ anticipates over 8,500 people bringing out their family, friends, and loved ones to a fun family friendly carnival inspired experience. Hosted by Ludacris and the The Ludacris Foundation, ‘LudaFamDay’ presents a community festival where music meets social impact. This experience will host a series of activities including family friendly attractions and activations from local, regional and national brands in a fun carnival setting.
I think this is awesome! For those outside of Atlanta who only know what they about the city from memes on social media, please know that its community service like this that make our city so great!
